The Commonwealth of Virginia (i /v?r'd??nj?/) is a U.S. state on the Atlantic Coast of the Southern United States. Virginia is nicknamed the "Old Dominion" and sometimes the "Mother of Presidents" because it is the birthplace of eight U.S. presidents. Heritage for the Blind is a non-profit organization serving the blind and visually impaired in Virginia. Our mission is to provide the tools necessary to help the blind and visually impaired inVirginia independently explore and participate fully in society.
